PEPEPRCORNS, WHITE GROUND

White Pepper is the same as black pepper, but with the outer shell removed from the peppercorn before it is ground. It is milder in taste and aroma then black pepper but has a sharp, tangy flavor. Use in dishes such as cream sauces or mashed potatoes where you do not want black flecks, or in any dish where you want their sharp flavor to shine through.
