Shawarma Chicken Bowls

4Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1 lb. chicken thighs, skinless, boneless
- 1 tbsp Shawarma spice
- salt to taste
Shawarma Rice:
- 1 cup rice
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Shawarma spice
- 1 tbsp minced dry onion
- 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
- 2 cups water
- ¼ cup red pepper, diced, opt.
Pickled Onions:
- red onions, sliced
- lime juice
- sugar
- salt
- vinegar
- juice from pepperoncini peppers
- Water to equal amount of liquids above
Toppings:
- Rice
- Lettuce, shredded
- cucumber, diced
- pickled onion
- Feta cheese, crumbled
- Garlic hummus
- tzatziki sauce
- Greek feta dressing
- Naan Bread
Directions
- Grease a 2 qt dish. Sprinkle in rice, spice, salt, onion, bouillon, and red pepper. Pour water over. Drizzle with melted butter. Cover and bake at 350* for 1 hour.
- Coat chicken with spice and salt. Grill. Then slice.
- Mix liquids and add onions. Let sit 8- 12 hours.
- Just before serving, grill naan bread. Brush with garlic butter.
